Our Mission and goals for this historic building
We are a heritage destination and a community gateway to the common, providing a window into its past and a centre for enjoying its present. As a charity our role is protect this heritage building, tell its story and develop the site for the enjoyment of our visitors.
Greenham Control Tower is the focal point for a series of exciting things to do, inside the tower and out on Greenham Common.

We are a registered charity. Our Trustees, paid staff and volunteers work together to maintain the historic legacy of the building and develop the café and community space for visitors from near and far.

Greenham Control Tower is run as a charity. We do not charge an entrance fee. We rely on self-generated funds, donations and grants. Your donation is a vital way of helping us keep the building open, and to help us develop it for the future.

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our small & friendly charity
It’s a great opportunity to meet some lovely people – our visitors and our fantastic volunteer team!Whether you can contribute just a few hours a month or can help on a more regular weekly basis we will welcome you to our friendly team and give you any training needed.
We are looking for people who can spare some time to help in a number of roles: Guiding visitors, serving in the Café, fundraising, marketing, and providing other support roles.
