Baby Loss Awareness week is a national event between the 9th-15th October every year, and this year Greenham Control Tower is supporting the Hampshire Hospital NHS Trust with their week long online event which is fundraising for 5 charities who support families though the devastating loss of a baby at any stage in pregnancy or after birth.
There is a donation bucket at the takaway window of our café plus there is an area next to the café where anyone who has lost a baby is encouraged to come and tie a pink/blue ribbon in memory of their child. We have also made our outside lighting pink and blue for the week.
