Good Exchange Project 19844

Greenham Control Tower is seeking funds for essential repairs and improvements to our heritage centre cafe, ensuring it remains a warm, welcoming, and comfortable space for the local community.

Since opening our doors to the public five years ago, Greenham Control Tower has become a much-loved hub of activity for recreational users of Greenham Common, as well as a popular heritage visitor attraction for people across West Berkshire and beyond. But with 70,000 visitors a year passing through our doors, the building and its visitor spaces are now showing signs of significant wear and tear.

Café Improvements

We want to improve the ambience of our Café, making it an even better space to enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake and to warm up after a brisk walk along the common.

Our Café helps to fund our heritage destination allowing us to host exhibitions, plays, talks and special tours informing and inspiring visitors of all ages. But we need help to meet rising fuel costs and maintenance bills for our Cold War era building.

How to make a donation

We are raising funds via the Good Exchange platform.

Please note that this project is now closed.

Each donation made will be matched by Greenham Trust – so every £1 you give will generate £2 for Greenham Control Tower.    Your help would be very welcome!
