After the very successful performances during our official opening, Greenham Control Tower will once again be hosting the Greenham Cold War Experience in May 2019.

About the Event

Journey back through time to the 1980’s and experience the Greenham Common Decontamination Suite, Control Tower and Peace Camp in an immersive theatre event. The three scenes are linked by a walk across the Common and a Q&A.

‘You have been contaminated. Follow the red arrows on the floor.’ Join the press corps as the air traffic control. team as they guide in the planes at the tower. Visit Indigo Camp and find out more about the peace camps.

The two venues are linked by a walk across the Common. If preferred audience members can drive in their owns cars on road, between venues. The walk between venues takes approximately 30 minutes each way. Parking is available at both venues.

1. The venues are not wheelchair accessible, performance includes stairs
2. During the performances public access to the Observation Deck is limited
