About the Event
This section of Building 274 is attached to what was the command centre for the 501st Tactical Missile Wing. The purpose of the decontamination suite would have been to cleanse personnel of nerve agents in the event of a chemical attack and was designed to be self-sufficient in air, water and sanitation following an enemy attack.
We are running tours throughout the weekend of 20th/21st September. No need to book, just turn up at Building 274 and we will be taking groups through the building every 30 minutes. . More information on the Heritage Open Day website.
