About the Event

Curated by our volunteers, this special exhibition explores the wide variety of aircraft that flew from the airfield between the 1930s and its closure in 1992. From wartime operations and Cold War missions to the aircraft that became synonymous with Greenham Common, the exhibition highlights the vital role the airfield played in military and aviation history.
Featuring photographs, artefacts and fascinating insights, Aeroplanes of Greenham offers visitors the chance to explore the rich aviation heritage of one of Britain’s most significant former airbases.
