A Brief History of Aviation in the County of Berkshire – CANCELLED

In light of the current ongoing situation and taking heed of government advise, this event is cancelled in order to protect our volunteers, staff and visitors. We hope to reschedule and hope you understand this decision.

Ken Fostekew has been involved with the Museum of Berkshire Aviation in Woodley since day one (and, he says, even more so since his retirement!)

Over the past 26 years the museum has amassed a considerable archive of both civil and military aviation in the county. Woodley itself has played a significant role in this dynamic history. Miles and Handley Page aircraft were built there and Sir Douglas Bader famously crashed there.

Ken’s talk promises a fascinating and intimate insight into Berkshire’s place in the annuls of aviation.
